Spezialfolge von der Eurobasket 2025 in Riga! Der Finne Henrik Dettmann war sechs Jahre lang deutscher Bundestrainer. Er gewann mit Dirk Nowitzki Bronze bei der Basketball-WM 2002 in Indianapolis und wurde Vierter bei der EM 2001 in Istanbul. Danach coachte er unter anderem die Nationalmannschaft Finnlands und ist inzwischen dort Sportdirektor. Er erklärt, wie er zu Beginn seiner Zeit als deutscher Bundestrainer in allererster Linie Nationalspieler wie Chris Welp, Kai Nürnberger und Henning Harnisch überreden musste, überhaupt ihren Sommer zu opfern, und was “Susijengi”, das Wolfsrudel der Finnen, ausmacht.
