In this episode, I am joined by good friend and Head Coach of the D.C. United U17 Academy Nate Baker. Nate is from the DMV and is a Former Assistant Coach with NCAA DI schools with The United States Naval Academy and Nebraska Omaha. Nate played locally for NCAA DI American University in Washington D.C. and is a former student athlete at Saint Johns High School in D.C.
We discuss ways to communicate with college coaches, the unique parts of attending and playing for a service academy, program culture, building programs from the ground up, and ways to stand out from other players.
