He broke a 39 year old record by Vinny Testaverde, who completed his first 14 passes in a game back in 1986. The Hurricanes got young players like freshman safety Bryce Fitzgerald and freshman running back Girard Pringle into the game. Pringle scored a 30 yard touchdown, and Fitzgerald grabbed his first career interception to ensure Miami kept the Wildcats out of the end zone.
