'Pitso's Job Was Never In Danger'

After a fantastic start to his Al Ahly career, fans of the club expressed anger towards Pitso Mosimane after the African champions failed to be crowned domestic champions for the 6th consecutive year after fierce rivals Zamalek FC defeated Al Entang Al Harby 2-0 to become champions. After Pitso and Al Ahly received abuse from fans, club president Mahmoud El Khatib, has defended the South African-born coach, as well as the staff and management team. "We fully trust coach Pitso Mosimane, captain Sayed Abdelhafiz, and our coaching, medical, administrative staffs," he said, according to the club's social media platforms.
"You deserve to be honoured for what you did in the last period and we are working on that."

With only 6 days left, the European transfer window will soon be shut until the Winter months and there are still many transfer rumours that have been tossed into the pot; with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe and Harry Kane featuring on this week's episode of The Carwash: International News Desk Special. It has been reported that Harry Kane will be staying at Tottenham, however, things may turn out differently for Cristiano Ronaldo, who has publicly said that he wants to leave The old lady in Juventus. Reports suggest that Manchester City are leading the race to acquire the signature from the Portuguese winger, however, can they afford him after the Mancunian outfit splashed £100 million on English superstar Jack Grealish?.

French wonderkid Kylian Mbappe has also come out to the public by saying he wants to leave the PSG, but the club recently rejected an offer from Real Madrid of around €160 million. Mbappe has always dreamed of playing for Los Blancos, and with less than 10 months left on his current contract, could we see PSG kicking themselves for rejecting this offer?
