Neil Manthorp is joined by the former England fast bowler Steve Harmison to react to the ECB's Central Contract announcement for the 2026/27 season, with 39 players being awarded deals. They also discuss the changes in England's coaching structure, with two completely different sets of coaches for the red-ball and white-ball team, and they joined by the newly appointed England Coach Eric Simons to explain why he has joined Stephen Fleming's backroom staff.
Why have the ECB given out 39 contracts? What are the sole reason players have central contracts? Why has Henry Crocombe been awarded with a two-year deal despite never playing for England? What does Steve make of the decision to appoint two separate coaching setups for the red ball and white ball formats?
