POST CAST: Matt Boldy Hat Trick Leads Wild Over Blues in 5-4 Win

The Minnesota Wild improved to 5-2-1 with a 5-4 win over the St. Louis Blues on Thursday night at Grand Casino Arena. The Blues scored the first goal of the game on a Power Play in the opening minutes, but the Wild stormed back with goals from Matt Boldy and Danila Yurov to take a 2-1 lead after 1. The Blues tied the score to start the second, before the Wild scored three straight, including Matt Boldy's 2nd and 3rd goals of the game and Kirill Kaprizov's 9th goal of the season to make it 5-2. The Blues were able to score twice in the 3rd period to pull the game closer after Joel Hofer knocked Kirill Kaprizov out of the game, but the Wild were able to secure the win. Jesper Wallstedt stopped 20 of 24 shots in net for the win and the Wild Power Play went 1/5. The Wild play Columbus on Saturday for their next game.
