We interviewed Jake Casey, a Toronto Blue Jays prospect who plays for the Vancouver Canadians. His father's influence was significant, but Jake appreciates how his father (Sean Casey) allowed him to fall in love with baseball naturally, rather than forcing it upon him. This nurturing approach laid the groundwork for Jake's passion for the sport. Attending Upper St. Clair High School, where both his father and brother played, Jake balanced baseball and basketball until his junior year. Despite the challenges, Jake stayed focused, training diligently and ultimately earning an offer from Kent State.Jake's journey is a testament to perseverance and passion for the game.
