Episode Notes

Host Ricky Sacks is joined by Jason McGovern, Actor TJ Ramini and Luke as Cristian Romero popped up with another late equaliser to rescue a point at Burnley on Saturday. The central defender produced a brilliant 90th-minute header from Wilson Odobert's cross to score his third goal in as many games and ensure we didn't leave Turf Moor empty-handed, having found ourselves denied by a string of Martin Dubravka saves and the frame of the goal over the course of the contest. His central defensive partner Micky van de Ven had earlier fired us into a deserved lead, but Burnley fought back with goals from Axel Tuanzebe and Lyle Foster either side of half-time. Without a win in 13 Premier League outings beforehand, the Clarets looked set to cling on despite our heavy pressure for what would have been a famous win - until Romero, much like he did at Newcastle United last month, took matters into his own hands to make it 2-2 at the end. There was still a sense of frustration for the team at full-time, though, having gone close to adding to the scoreline on multiple occasions. We discuss where this leaves the future of Thomas Frank and if he deserves to continue in his position as Spurs’ head coach.
