REPORTS: George MacIntyre to START at Quarterback for Tennessee vs. Alabama

Tennessee Football plans to continue starting George MacIntyre vs. Alabama over true freshman Faizon Brandon. Is this the right call and one that gives Tennessee the best chance to win? Plus, how healthy is Faizon Brandon?

The conversation focused on why MacIntyre, after taking first-team reps in practice, is the right choice over Faizon Brandon—who remains questionable but could be used situationally for his mobility. A key theme that emerged was MacIntyre’s ability to stretch the field and force defenses like Alabama's to respect Tennessee’s passing game. The discussion explored potential red zone strategies, the impact of turnovers, and how the Volunteers can maximize both quarterbacks’ strengths to edge out the Crimson Tide. Don’t miss this breakdown of Tennessee’s evolving offense and what it means for their SEC showdown.
