Welcome to Daily Faceoff Live with Tyler Yaremchuk and Carter Hutton!
We start the show in Winnipeg as the Jets drop their sixth straight and sit seventh in the Central Division. They were 3-8-1 without Connor Hellebuyck and despite his return steadying the goals against they are still just 1-3-3 since he’s been back. Last season at this point the Jets had 53 points, have they run out of fuel in Winnipeg?
The Carolina Hurricanes are down to two goalies as Pyotr Kochetkov is done for the season with a knee injury, is this a big deal or no deal for the Canes Cup chances? Andrew Mangiapane, Sean Monahan, and Jake Debrusk headline some expensive healthy scratches. Are there serious concerns with any of these players and could we see some on the move?
