"The Overthrow" from TPLCC with “Ben Walkden - Premier League Player of the Year?”

Welcome to "The Overthrow", Powered by Spond, from The Premier League Cricket Club, the show that has no need for results, stats & performances, just a proper chat with those in & around Premier League & NCCA cricket.

🎙️In this show, Livo & Hugh chat with Ben Walkden of Newton Le Willows & Lancashire, and once again playing at Airport West in Australia for the winter.

A proper all-rounder with 746 PL runs to go with his 57 wickets in just 16 matches in the 2026 Premier League season, Ben was the 1st bowler to 50 Premier League wickets this season, and less than 3 weeks later signed his first contract with his boyhood club Lancashire - a justifiable reward for all his hard work & performances over a number of Liverpool & District & Aussie seasons.
