Episode Notes
Episode 7: You Gotta be Kiddin' me!!: India’s Asia Cup Squad Drama 😳 Iyer, Prasidh Ignored, Jaiswal Benched
The Asia Cup 2025 squad is out — and let’s say, jaws are on the floor. Shreyas Iyer, one of India’s most reliable white-ball performers, is nowhere to be seen. Yashasvi Jaiswal, fresh off big knocks, has been benched. Even IPL 2025’s Purple and Orange Cap holders, Prasidh Krishna and B. Sai Sudarshan, have been ignored.
In this episode of The Stumps Mic Show, we break down the selection shockers, what Ajit Agarkar & Co. might be thinking, and how these bold (or bizarre?) calls could shape India’s Asia Cup journey. From form vs. favouritism to the ripple effects on World Cup prep — we’re pulling no punches.
India’s squad is in, but the debates are only just beginning.
