FAST-TRACK: How Could Adam Novotny’s NHL-Ready Skills ELEVATE The San Jose Sharks?

San Jose Sharks eye key NHL Draft prospects as Adam Novotny’s versatile power-forward game, JP Hurlbert’s elite goal-scoring instincts, and Mathis Preston’s boom-or-bust skill set move into the spotlight. Could one of these standout CHL forwards transform the Sharks’ offense and accelerate their rebuild?

JD Young and McKeen Hockey’s Derek Neumeier break down Novotny’s NHL-ready physicality, Hurlbert’s uncanny knack for finding the net, and Preston’s dynamic but inconsistent WHL campaign. The debate covers each prospect’s ideal role, developmental needs, and possible draft range—raising questions about immediate impact versus long-term upside. Sharks fans get exclusive insights into how these young talents might fit alongside Macklin Celebrini, Will Smith, and Michael Misa in San Jose’s future.
