TKACHUK IS BACK! Panthers looked right in Washington! Matthew Tkachuk will Return tonight vs. SJ!

On today's edition of the Locked On FLORIDA Panthers Podcast, Armando Velez(@Mandoman12) is here to break down the Panthers 5-2 win over the Washington Capitals on Saturday night, bouncing back after a poor performance in Carolina the night before. Paul Maurice went one-by-one on the Panthers bench to thank them for bouncing back, and one of the many examples of the culture being in a great place. The Panthers made the move to send F Noah Gregor to the AHL after clearing waivers, and after Matthew Tkachuk was seen skating on a line with Evan Rodrigues and Mackie Samoskevich, it sets up a return for Matthew Tkachuk to the lineup, which he and Paul Maurice later confirmed that he will be in the lineup. Brad Marchand skated, but will remain out of the lineup. The Panthers will need to make a corresponding move to open up the cap space for Tkachuk to return to the lineup. After 11 months of pain going through his torn adductor muscle and sports hernia from the Four Nations Final and playing in the postseason with the injury, Tkachuk is fully healthy to play in regular season games again, and it starts tonight at home against San Jose. The Sharks are in the final playoff spot in the west heading into tonights game, as the young Sharks get a chance to show what they have against the two-time defending Stanley Cup Champions, and looking for a sweep as they got 39 shots in their last matchup in early November, but were only able to score once as they came out of their matchup with 0 points.
