Helium Boys: USC survives Rutgers, the time is now against No. 20 Oregon and famous ducks

The Helium Boys, Shotgun Spratling and Chris Trevino, return to the lab to break down the latest USC contest after the Trojans improved to 4-0 on the season with a Big Ten-opening road win but one that wasn't pretty at all. They also preview the big-time upcoming matchup between USC and Oregon that could be a battle for West Coast supremacy.

The podcasting duo opens with the Two-Minute Drill where Shotgun discusses his excitement about the upcoming matchup between the Trojans and Ducks while Chris talks about his airline de-commitment from Southwest and the opportunity he gave JetBlue to swipe his commitment away.

The boys of Helium jump into listener comments and corrections before breaking down the Trojans' sloppy and disappointing performance in a 42-35 victory at Rutgers. They talk about King Miller and Kayden Dixon-Wyatt continuing to step up and the Trojan offense being able to close out the game with a dominant four-minute drive because of the fear of what would have occurred had the defense been asked to make a final stop with the game on the line. The duo also discuss some puzzling defensive calls as well as some giant vacancies in USC's zone coverage. They also talk about the team's health and Jayden Maiava's regression since landing hard on his shoulder on his penultimate play of the Fresno State game.

Shotgun and Chris then, after a break, take a look forward at USC welcoming Oregon into the Coliseum for a primetime matchup that could determine who rules the West Coast.
