In this episode, Derek (@CreaseAndAssist), Steve (@brandsteve), and Theresa (@MNSOTA24) start the show with the sad news of the sudden passing of Jessi Pierce and her three children in a tragic house fire. Her absence in the hockey world will definitely be felt. Next, they discuss the twin firings of the University of Minnesota Men's Hockey Head Coach, Bob Motzko and Women's Head Coach, Brad Frost. Both rolls have already been filled by Brett Larson for the men and Greg "Boom" May for the women. These hirings will hopefully bring some excitement and improvement to both programs. We also discuss the Minnesota Wild's recent struggles against non-playoff teams and what that might mean as the regular season is about to end and playoffs begin.
