Welcome to The K-State Pregame Show presented by GoPowercat.com, featuring publisher Tim Fitzgerald and analyst Cole Carmody. The Kansas State Wildcats return home after dropping back-to-back road games. A mighty task awaits the Cats on Saturday in the form of Oklahoma State's high-octane offense led by quarterback Drew Mestemaker. K-State is 4-4 overall and 1-4 in the Big 12, while OSU is 5-3 and 3-2 following a surprising loss last week at Iowa State. The quarterback position seems to have found an answer because starter Avery Johnson is still out. After coming off the bench at Colorado to spark the Cats, junior Blake Barnett gets his first career start, becoming the fourth different quarterback to start for the Wildcats over the last four games. The Big 12 Conference game kicks off Saturday at noon inside Bill Snyder Family Stadium and will be televised nationally on TNT.
