Christopher Carter of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, hosts the Locked on Steelers podcast, and is joined by Nick Farabaugh of PennLive.com.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have several needs to address this offseason, so Christopher Carter and Nick Farabaugh discuss their options in free agency vs. the NFL Draft. Can the Steelers find their next big playmaker receiver in free agency like Alec Pierce? Or do they address safety with players like Kamren Curl or Jaquon Brisker? This free agent class doesn't appear strong yet, but finding the parts of it that complement the strengths of this NFL Draft class could be a big key for Omar Khan. Also, Chris and Nick discuss where Payton Wilson is in his development and how he could impact the plan to find new linebackers. Should the Steelers go big at linebacker like Sonny Styles or CJ Allen? Or should they wait to get middle round prospects like Kyle Louis or Jacob Rodriguez? Finally, Chris and Nick discuss final grades for the special teams.
