It's an honour to welcome Kyle Bekker to the show. A true trailblazer in every sense of the word in Canada Soccer. He started in the MLS with TFC, then moved to Dallas and Montreal. When the CPL was announced, it was Bekker who was made the first signing in Forge FC's history, being named club captain as well. He won 3 league titles with the club, another 4 North Star Cups, and now a Voyageurs Cup as well. On top of that he's represented Canada 18 times and was named the 2020 CPL Player of the Year.
In this sit-down interview, we dive into his career, his passion for the game, what he wants to see from Canada, the choices that shaped him, some of his career highlights, and so much more. Kyle Bekker is a legend of Canada Soccer and someone I've long admired so it's absolutely surreal to have him on the show to reflect on his legendary career.
