We are continuing our study in the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah, the Son of the Living God, preached this message to show His followers what it looks like to be a disciple in His invisible kingdom as we live everyday lives in the real world.

In today's passage, Jesus returns again to the topic of prayer. Prayer gets more attention than any other topic in the Sermon on the Mount. Jesus tells us how we are to go about praying and why we are to go about praying like that. The original literally says keep on asking, keep on seeking, keep on knocking. This is Jesus' invitation to us to pray like a kid.
