Giannis Is ALREADY Impressed… Did the Heat Find Their PERFECT Lineup?

Giannis Antetokounmpo has officially gotten his first real look at this Miami Heat roster—and he seems to LOVE what he sees.

After Heat Media Day and the beginning of training camp, Giannis talked about the defensive possibilities of playing alongside Bam Adebayo, Andrew Wiggins, Davion Mitchell and Pelle Larsson, even asking one simple question about that potential five-man group:

Where’s the mismatch?!

On today’s Battered Heat Fans, we break down why that lineup could be absolutely terrifying defensively and whether Pelle Larsson is emerging as an even bigger piece of Miami’s championship plans than we originally expected.

We’ll also discuss the three Heat players who have already impressed Giannis, Davion Mitchell’s leadership, Bobby Portis showing up in dramatically different shape, Erik Spoelstra’s plan to use both Giannis and Bam as offensive hubs, and what we learned about this completely rebuilt Heat roster as training camp officially gets underway.

Plus, should Pelle actually CLOSE games for Miami? Where does Klay Thompson fit? And after finally hearing from Giannis, Bam and Spo, do we feel even better about Miami’s chances of competing for the Eastern Conference?

The Giannis era has officially begun.

And this Heat roster might be deeper than people think.
