The Sooners have a lot of faces up and down the depth chart that are new faces, or players who haven't become household names to Sooner fans over the last year. That looks to change as spring practices have identified several players who could have a lasting impact on the 2026 season. We talk with Cheetah Jeremiah Newcombe, who made some waves last year before being injured, Kenny Ozowalu, the defensivie lineman transfer from UTSA and true freshman Jake Kreul, who is quickly making a name for himself in practices this spring. We also catch up with OU athletic director Roger Denny, who spoke last night in Tulsa.
