ONE MORE THING: Breaking Down the Kyrie Irving Rumors

Miami Heat eye major changes as offensive struggles fuel Kyrie Irving trade rumors. Could a blockbuster move for the star guard finally solve their shot creation problems, or is patience the smarter play for Erik Spoelstra’s squad?

Wes Goldberg breaks down Miami’s current roster limitations, potential trade frameworks for Kyrie Irving, and the feasibility of acquiring players like Dejounte Murray and Zach LaVine. A key theme that emerged was the challenge of matching salaries and asset value, with insights into why buyout scenarios could be more realistic than trades. The discussion explored GMs’ leverage games, the Heat’s cap strategy, and whether trusting internal growth from players like Pelle Larsson and Davion Mitchell could hit the mark. The latest news on the Dwyane Wade statue also gets a mention as Miami looks to steady their season.

Is the Miami Heat one bold move away from contention—or will they hold out for the perfect opportunity?
