FALCONS SQUAD SHOW: The Atlanta Falcons NEEDS Michael Penix Jr. to play against Chicago

Atlanta Falcons’ offense finds new life with Michael Penix Jr.—but can they maintain momentum against the resurging Chicago Bears? The debate heats up as the crew weighs Penix’s impact on team confidence and offensive efficiency, especially with concerns about his injury history shadowing the Falcons’ playoff hopes. Meanwhile, doubts swirl around backup quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s ability to keep Atlanta competitive if needed.

Tenitra Batiste, Aaron Freeman, and Jarvis Davis analyze Tommy Reese’s evolving play-calling, Drake London’s expanding role, and the critical need for execution in the run game. On the defensive front, Jeff Ulbrich’s unit faces the dual challenge of limiting dynamic rookie Caleb Williams while overcoming key injuries in the secondary. Plus, special teams adjustments and X-factors that could decide the matchup. Can the Atlanta Falcons outplay the Bears and stay alive in the wide-open NFC South?
