Season 3 begins with a special episode about one of hockey’s most exciting young stars: Gavin McKenna. Louis and Remy follow Gavin’s journey from growing up in Whitehorse, Yukon, to becoming a junior hockey superstar, representing Canada, playing college hockey at Penn State, and ultimately being selected first overall in the 2026 NHL Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs.
We also explore Gavin’s proud Indigenous heritage, his connection to the Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in First Nation, and what it meant for him to become only the second First Nations player in NHL history selected first overall.
It’s the story of a kid who left home at a young age to chase an enormous dream, and is now beginning the next chapter of his hockey journey in Toronto.
