REVOLUTION: How Players Era & CEO Seth Berger Are TRANSFORMING College Hoops BEYOND NIL-Backed MTEs | Seth Berger Interview

Players Era revolutionizes college basketball, prioritizing NIL opportunities and putting athletes at the forefront of high-stakes events. CEO Seth Berger, And1 co-founder and long-time high school coach, reveals how the upcoming Villanova vs. Notre Dame matchup in Rome and star-studded MTEs—including field headliners like Florida, Kansas, and Houston—are reshaping the college basketball landscape. Are traditional MTEs a thing of the past as compensated athletes and blockbuster matchups set the tone for the season?

Isaac Schade discusses the surge in fan excitement, the transition to player-first business models, and how the rapid evolution of college sports is impacting teams and coaches. Berger explains the significance of NIL in shifting player mobility, why events like the Players Era Festival matter, and what the future holds for college basketball powerhouses. Can this shift sustain the spirit of the game while fueling its growth?
