We are down to just one regular season game left for the Dallas Stars (tomorrow night at Buffalo) and then playoffs get underway. On today’s DLLS Stars Podcast, we begin by discussing Mavrik Bourque’s first career NHL hat trick last night against the Toronto Maple Leafs. We will be joined by Minnesota Wild radio play-by-play broadcaster Joe O’Donnell as we get ready for a highly anticipated first round playoff series between the Stars and Wild. Then we will take a look at the Stars’ lineups for each of the last three post seasons, where they reached the Western Conference Final in 2023, 2024 and 2025, and we will compare those groups to the current Stars roster - how does this year’s team stack up? If we have any time left, we now know the 16 teams that will compete for the 2026 Stanley Cup, but not all of the first round matchups are set in stone.
