THE DEFENSE IS A DISASTER! Luka destroys Miami as the Heat fall to 2–5

The Miami Heat's winning streak is OVER!

After back-to-back victories over Atlanta and Indiana, the Heat were dominated by Luka Dončić and the Los Angeles Lakers, falling 138–117 and dropping to 2–5 on the season.

Luka finished with 42 points and 13 assists as Miami once again struggled defensively. Giannis Antetokounmpo delivered 30 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists, but his seven turnovers were costly. Bam Adebayo finished with 16 points, while Klay Thompson continued his offensive improvement with 19.

On today's Battered Heat Fans, we're breaking down everything that went wrong against Los Angeles, Erik Spoelstra's defensive adjustments, the Giannis–Bam partnership and whether Miami has the roster to become a legitimate contender.

We'll also discuss the latest Kyrie Irving trade speculation, Miami's evolving rotation and Wednesday's matchup against the struggling LA Clippers.

Is the defense fixable, or does Miami need to make another major roster move?
