BLITZED: Atlanta Falcons DESTROYED By Bears' Blitz | Is Michael Penix's Future in Doubt?

Atlanta Falcons falter against the Chicago Bears as blocking miscues and blitz struggles expose key roster concerns. Can Michael Penix overcome limitations and lead this offense, or is a major shakeup on the horizon?

Aaron Freeman spotlights the Bears’ relentless blitz attack and the Falcons’ subpar pass protection, with Jawaan Taylor, Matthew Bergeron, and Bijan Robinson repeatedly missing assignments. The analysis covers Michael Penix’s decision-making, his well-known lack of mobility, recent progress, and what the Falcons must see from him in the coming weeks. Defensive breakdowns in zone coverage against Caleb Williams and Ben Johnson’s offensive scheme raise alarms about Atlanta’s cornerback depth. With inconsistent play and injuries mounting, can the Falcons shore up their secondary before facing the San Francisco 49ers? Don’t miss this sharp All-22 review of the Falcons’ most pressing issues heading into Week 7.
