Tennessee Expert Said This About Auburn's SEC Battle This Weekend

Auburn Tigers face a pivotal SEC road test as Alex Golesh returns to Knoxville to battle the Tennessee Volunteers—will his inside knowledge of Josh Heupel’s offense give Auburn a crucial edge? Golesh’s highly anticipated matchup against his former team layers intrigue over a contest already shaped by key injuries, quarterback questions, and SEC playoff stakes.

Zac Blackerby and Eric Cain break down Auburn’s explosive but inconsistent offense, featuring quarterback Byrum Brown and a dynamic receiving corps led by Chas Nimrod and Keshaun Singleton. Tennessee’s banged-up secondary and offensive line spark further discussion, while standout linebackers Xavier Atkins and Elijah Melendez will be critical for Auburn’s defense against Tennessee’s physical ground game. Predictive insights focus on both quarterbacks’ playmaking potential, the impact of weather, starting fast on the road, and which team can capitalize on mismatches in the trenches. Will Auburn’s revamped attack upset a favored Tennessee squad?
