Lindsay Crosby breaks down Atlanta’s frustrating 5–4 loss to Seattle, focusing on the pivotal sixth inning: J.R. Ritchie’s control issues, Walt Weiss not having a reliever ready, and the swing that flipped the game. He credits the Braves’ offense for crushing Logan Gilbert with constant hard contact but getting unlucky and drawing only two walks, with four solo homers not enough. Crosby argues Aaron Bummer’s declining velocity, worsening metrics, and shaky outing make him the clear roster move to activate Raisel Iglesias, while noting other bullpen availability concerns and speculating on pitching plans.
