Elsewhere, Croatia qualified for the knockouts (because of course they did), that little Argentine wizard was at it again and Algeria & Austria abandoned any sort of gentlemen's agreement and played out a riotous slugfest. That means we can look ahead to the knockouts! Which start in about seven hours' time...
