ROCK BOTTOM: Los Angeles Angels & Rockies Hit Franchise LOWS, but Ownership Changes Provide HOPE!

Los Angeles Angels fans finally get their wish as Arte Moreno sells the team to Stan Kroenke, ushering in a new era of hope in Anaheim. After years of frustration and “sell the team” chants ringing through Angel Stadium, the shakeup runs deep: cleaning house in the front office, dismissing the coaching staff, and ending Perry Minasian’s tenure as GM, with John Mozeliak stepping in as interim GM. Is this fresh start the spark Mike Trout, Zach Neto, and Nolan Schanuel need to turn things around?

Jon Frisch of the Super Halo Bros. and Paul Holden of Locked On Rockies break down the magnitude of the Angels’ ownership overhaul, compare the franchise’s situation with the Colorado Rockies’ partial ownership shift, and debate realistic timelines for returning to playoff contention. Plus, the conversation covers the farm system’s rapid improvement, Kroenke’s winning legacy, and why fan activism made all the difference. Will new ownership finally lift the Angels out of rock bottom?
