Steve reflects on his early beginnings, his lifelong love of Preston North End and the journey that led him into rugby.
He looks back on his time as an England player, exploring how two very different Rugby World Cup experiences helped shape his approach to coaching.
The conversation also explores the contrasts between football and rugby, from coaching in the stands rather than on the touchline to the growing role of technology in both sports.
Steve discusses winning the Premiership title with Leicester Tigers before receiving the call to take charge of England.
Finally, he looks ahead to the 2027 Rugby World Cup and shares his thoughts on England’s prospects on the world stage.
