Dalton Knecht's Knicks Debut has Lakers Fans Upset Bronny James wasn't Waived Instead

When the Lakers waived Dalton Knecht to reach the mandatory 15-player roster, it was predictable, but that doesn't necessarily make it satisfying for many Lakers fans. Why? Because there's a large contingent of Lakers Faithful who felt like Bronny James, drafted the same year as Knecht, has shown even less progress in his young NBA career, and therefore has even less business taking up a roster spot. Especially since his Pops, LeBron James, is now in Philadelphia, and there's no need anymore to appease The King by employing Junior.

Well, that noise has gotten even louder. Knecht was soon picked up by the Knicks, received a Two-Way deal, and made his debut on Wednesday. Ten points. Seven rebounds. A pair of threes drained. Granted, this all happened in SERIOUS garbage time, but it's nonetheless got the base riled up again. The Kamenetzkys discuss, plus look at Friday's rematch against the Blazers.
