LIVERPOOL ROBBED? Craig FUMES at Dermot Gallagher's VAR Explanation

Late Night Live with Craig

Craig returns for another edition of Late Night Live, reacting to Liverpool's frustrating 1-0 defeat to Arsenal and the major talking points emerging from Anfield.

The controversial penalty appeal involving Alexander Isak takes centre stage, with Craig delivering a furious response to Dermot Gallagher's explanation of why VAR failed to intervene.

With Thierry Henry and Jay Bothroyd also questioning the decision, Craig asks a simple question: what is the point of VAR if it cannot correct incidents like this?

Attention then turns to Liverpool's midfield, with Trey Nyoni continuing to impress under Andoni Iraola. Craig examines the momentum shift against Arsenal following Nyoni's substitution and questions whether Dominik Szoboszlai's introduction disrupted Liverpool's balance.

Could Szoboszlai be better suited to competing with Florian Wirtz for the number ten position rather than playing deeper in midfield?

There's also a major discussion surrounding Ryan Gravenberch's future, with speculation suggesting the Dutch midfielder could be slipping down Iraola's pecking order. Could his reported wages become an issue if he is no longer a regular starter?

Craig also reflects on Liverpool's attacking struggles against Arsenal, the lack of clear-cut opportunities and why he still believes there are encouraging signs of progress despite the defeat.

Are Liverpool being let down by Premier League officials, or do Iraola's players need to take greater responsibility for their performances?

All this and more on Late Night Live with Craig on Anfield Agenda.
