Erik Polkamp BURSTS Onto San Jose Sharks Defense—Will He TRANSFORM the Offense?

San Jose Sharks shake up their defensive corps as Erik Polkamp gets the call-up from the AHL. Can Polkamp's powerful shot revitalize the Sharks’ struggling blue line and spark more offense on a challenging road trip? The conversation focused on Polkamp’s NCAA success under coach David Carl, his rapid rise through the ranks, and whether he could be the ideal replacement for Dmitry Orlov.

Key topics included injury updates for Alex Wennberg and Igor Chernyshov, how lineup changes might affect special teams, and expectations for upcoming clashes against the Los Angeles Kings, Minnesota Wild, and Dallas Stars. The discussion explored tactical shifts, potential defensive pairings—like Allan with Polkamp—and the importance of Macklin Celebrini’s performance in a crucial three-game stretch. Can the Sharks find their scoring touch and steal points against some of the Central Division’s best?
