Jake Brown Goes NUCLEAR! 3 HR Night Leads LSU 15–4 Rout

LSU got exactly what it needed Friday night — a palate cleanser.

After dropping two straight games, the Tigers erupted for a 15-4 run-rule win over Sacramento State at Alex Box Stadium. The offense exploded for six home runs, led by a monster night from Jake Brown, who launched three homers and drove in six runs to match his entire home run total from last season.

Derek Curiel and Steven Milam also stayed hot at the plate as LSU’s veteran core delivered the type of offensive performance the Tigers had been searching for after a frustrating midweek loss.

On the mound, Casan Evans turned in his best outing of the season. The sophomore right-hander was perfect through five innings, struck out nine, touched 99 mph, and didn’t issue a walk while showing excellent command of his fastball and changeup.
