Mike Evans OUT, Nick Bosa IN vs Raiders in Week 9 // Latest on Other WRs, Including Brandon Aiyuk

San Francisco 49ers face mounting uncertainty as injuries rock their wide receiver corps ahead of a pivotal Week 9 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. With Mike Evans sidelined by Achilles tendonitis and Deebo Samuel still nursing a hamstring injury, the 49ers are left scrambling for options—sparking speculation about a potential trade for a new X receiver before the looming deadline.

The conversation explored Brandon Aiyuk’s complicated status, agent Drew Rosenhaus’s involvement, and how team leadership is navigating contract limbo and locker room dynamics. The discussion spotlighted keys to victory, including ramping up George Kittle’s involvement, Brock Purdy’s ability to shoulder the offensive load, and stifling the Raiders’ attack. Several points were raised, including the depth chart shakeup with Demarcus Robinson stepping in, the risk of lingering injuries for Christian McCaffrey, and how San Francisco can exploit the league’s worst defense in yards per play. Will roster moves and returning stars be enough to keep the 49ers’ Super Bowl hopes alive?

San Francisco 49ers fans are treated to daily news and analysis with Locked On 49ers, hosted by football analyst Brian Peacock and former NFL/AFL cornerback Eric Crocker.
