FIXING THE ROCKIES - Sully and Paul Holden Look To Turn Around MLB's Worst Team

It is a crossover with Sully and Paul Holden of Locked on Rockies. Colorado Rockies fans searching for hope: could seismic NL West shifts finally open a path back to October? As financial realities threaten the Los Angeles Dodgers’ juggernaut status and the San Diego Padres face looming challenges, the door might crack open for a Rockies resurgence. The conversation explores whether age and contracts could unravel the Dodgers’ dominance, drawing parallels to past MLB power shifts.

The discussion focuses on the Rockies’ stalled rebuild, featuring prospects like Ethan Holliday and Jackson Cox, and the perennial puzzle of building a winning pitching staff at altitude. Can creative pitching strategies—such as leveraging sinkerball veterans or innovative bullpen tactics—make Coors Field less of a death sentence for arms? The hosts debate potential free agent targets, the importance of a strong organizational coaching approach, and what it will take to make Colorado an attractive destination for players hungry to revive both their careers and the franchise.
