While the so-called 'traditional curtain-raiser' may not get much respect in England, in Germany it carries much more weight. This season, the German Supercup was a trophy that both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund wanted to win. So clearly, this wasn't one Andy could possibly miss.

He spent the weekend in Dortmund to watch Niko Kovač's BVB take on Vincent Kompany's double-winners.
