POST CAST: Avalanche Prevail in Bonkers 9-6 Game 1

The Colorado Avalanche grabbed a 1-0 series lead after a 9-6 win over the Minnesota Wild Sunday at Ball Arena. The 9 goals allowed was the most the Wild have allowed in franchise history, but the Wild battled back from an early 3-0 deficit to take a 5-4 lead before the Avs scored the next 3 to take a 7-5 lead. Marcus Johansson, Ryan Hartman, Vladimir Tarasenko, Quinn Hughes, Marcus Foligno and Mats Zuccarello all scored for the Wild, but the Wild Power Play went 0/3 and has not snapped out of its round 1 funk. The Wild will face the Avs in Game 2 of the series on Tuesday night at 7.
