Traina Thoughts: ESPN's Dave Pasch

Episode 25 of “The Traina Thoughts Podcast" features a conversation with versatile ESPN play-by-play man, Dave Pasch.

Pasch talks about calling the NFL Network's International games with Kurt Warner and Jason Kelce, leaving the Cardinals after doing their games on radio for 24 years, why radio is easier to do than television and working in three-man booths.

In addition, Pasch reveals whether he's ever felt underappreciated at ESPN, whether he ever came close to leaving ESPN and whether he critiques his own work.

Pasch also goes in depth on working with Bill Walton for so many years.

- What advice did Mike Tirico give Pasch about working with Walton?

- What was it like to watch Walton eat a lit candle on live TV?

- Did Walton ever push things too far?

The interview wraps with Pasch talking about his worse on-air gaffe and the best game he's ever called.
