POSTCAST: Missed Opportunities SINK Mets, Losing Streak Reaches SIX

The New York Mets battled back to tie this game, but they let a bunch of chances go by and they lost to the Chicago Cubs in extras, 4-3. 

With the loss, the Mets see their losing streak grow to six games and lost EVERY game of the season series against the Cubs. 

Missed chances are the story of this one. 14 men left on base and just 2-for-12 with RISP. 

Freddy Peralta bounced back and was much better, but was let down by his defense in the 6th inning, allowing the Cubs to jump out to a 3-0 lead. 

It's not the response the Mets were looking for after the embarrassing display in the doubleheader yesterday, and now they have to welcome in a red-hot Philadelphia Phillies team.
