Zverev wins US Open, Shelton getting closer, Rybakina is US Open champ & #1, Sabalenka comes up short again

Jimmy and Brett are back from NYC and the US Open and are ready to discuss everything they saw on finals weekend. Joined by traveling buddy and friend of the show Spencer Segura, they break it all down.

Zverev gets his second major of the summer and has quickly changed his career narrative from the best to not win one, to a first ballot hall of famer.

Ben Shelton had a great two week run, beating quality opponents at every round along the way. He just ran into a better player in the final in Zverev. Ben is getting closer to being the first American man to win a major since Andy Roddick in 2003, what can he do to improve?

Elena Rybakina was supposed to be hurt coming into Flushing Meadows. But boy did she play some amazing tennis to take home the trophy and become the newest member of the #1 club.

Aryna Sabalenka looked good getting to the US Open finals, but just ran into a player who was player better and was more focused. Maybe this will be a good wake up call for her to try and regain her place at the top of the WTA tour.
