The Chicago Cubs outplayed Jacob Misiorowski and the Milwaukee Brewers, but their offense wasn’t enough as Milwaukee stole Game 3 to take a 2-1 series lead in this four-game set. Alex Bregman launched another home run, but the Cubs couldn’t generate enough offense to finish the job, while Nico Hoerner was elite defensively and Pete Crow-Armstrong was relatively quiet at the plate. David Peterson had a rough start tonight, and once again the Cubs’ bullpen blew a game late, allowing Milwaukee to complete the comeback.
