Are the Lakers contenders or pretenders? Byron Scott and Olden Polynice aren't ready to crown LA just yet. With Luka Dončić, Austin Reaves, and Walker Kessler turning heads, the guys break down the Lakers' hot start, defensive weaknesses, and the challenges that will determine whether they're legitimate championship contenders.
Plus, a Warriors rookie calls out Luka, LeBron James embraces a new role in Philadelphia, and Byron and Olden debate who should take the final shot for the 76ers. The guys also tackle the Knicks' championship hangover, OKC's injury troubles, and the NBA's growing injury crisis in a heated debate over physicality, training, and load management.
