UNFINISHED: Jon Scheyer & the RELOADED Duke Blue Devils EXPECT to Reach the Mountaintop in 2026-27!

Duke Blue Devils seek redemption after back-to-back 35-win seasons and ACC double championships, but questions linger—can Jon Scheyer finally capture his first national title? Top recruits like JoJo Boumtje Boumtje and returning standouts Caleb Foster, Patrick Ngongba II, Dame Sarr, and Cayden Boozer headline a loaded roster, while transfer John Blackwell promises to unify Duke’s attack. Is this the year a third consecutive National Player of the Year emerges from Cameron Indoor?

Isaac Schade and JJ Jackson break down the Blue Devils’ depth, starting lineup debates, and key X-factors that could shape the season. Discussions center on Duke’s brutal non-conference schedule featuring Florida, Illinois, UConn, and Gonzaga, plus high ACC expectations and the challenge of managing elite talent. Predictions point toward another ACC title run and a deep NCAA Tournament push—possibly all the way to Detroit. How will Duke respond under pressure, and is banner No. 6 finally in sight?
