LIVERPOOL EYE VUŠKOVIĆ! Have the Reds Missed Their Chance?

Newsround Part 3

Dave Davis returns with another edition of News Round, focusing on Liverpool's reported interest in highly rated Brighton defender Luka Vušković.

The 19-year-old has made an impressive start to life at Brighton, and his performance against Liverpool has only strengthened Dave's admiration for the young centre-back.

With Brighton reportedly valuing Vušković at £100m following his £46m move from Tottenham, Dave questions whether Liverpool have already missed the opportunity to secure one of Europe's most promising defensive talents at a more affordable price.

There's also discussion about Liverpool's increasingly impressive centre-back options, the competition for places under Andoni Iraola and whether another major defensive investment would make sense.

Dave also examines the latest transfer speculation surrounding Liverpool's midfield targets, potential squad departures and the Reds' upcoming fixtures against Chelsea and Arsenal.

Could Vušković become Liverpool's next major defensive signing? Is £100m too expensive? And how should the Reds approach their future recruitment?

All this and more on News Round with Dave Davis.
