Which Preseason Shakeups Are Reshaping Backfields, Depth Charts & Your Fantasy Draft Board?

Preseason is delivering real fantasy‑relevant movement, and Bloom & Cecil break down the biggest storylines you need to stay ahead of your league.

Rookie RB Jonah Coleman is standing out for the Broncos — physical, explosive, and confident. But can he actually work his way into a backfield that already features JK Dobbins and RJ Harvey. We dig into usage, roles, and whether Coleman can carve out meaningful touches or if fantasy GMs should temper expectations.

In Houston, Jayden Higgins goes down with an ACL injury, leaving a major void in CJ Stroud's passing game. So who steps up. Bloom & Cecil break down the ripple effects — target redistribution, depth chart shakeups, and which Texans pass‑catchers suddenly become fantasy sleepers.

And in New York, Najee Harris signs with the Giants. How much of a threat is he for playing time. Is this a committee, a depth move, or a legitimate challenge to the current starter. We sort out the fantasy impact and how it should adjust your draft strategy.
